# Email, DNS & VoIP

> Hosted email, DNS domains, FSPBX, and Thirdlane

Under **Company** (and related menus), ISP Triage integrates communications stacks.

## DNS

**Company → DNS** (or DNS menu)

* Manage zones on connected PowerDNS (or configured backend)
* Edit A, AAAA, CNAME, MX, TXT records
* NS records use company nameserver hostnames from configuration

Use for customer domains and infrastructure DNS.

## Email

**Company → Email**

* Email domains and mailboxes (Modoboa or integrated provider)
* Aliases and accounts per domain
* Display **mail server hostname** for customer MX/IMAP/SMTP settings (from `ISP_EMAIL_MAIL_SERVER`)

Sync features may pull account state from the mail server API.

## VoIP — FSPBX

When enabled in **Company → Preferences → VoIP**:

**Company → FSPBX** (or VoIP menu)

* Select FSPBX server connection
* Domains, extensions, devices, ring groups
* Voicemail, active calls, registrations

Configure server URL and API token in Preferences before use.

## VoIP — Thirdlane

When Thirdlane is enabled in Preferences:

**Company → Thirdlane**

* Manage Thirdlane PBX integration per company server entries

## Preferences: VoIP tab

**Company → Preferences → VoIP**

* Enable/disable FSPBX and Thirdlane
* Add multiple servers per provider
* Store API tokens (encrypted) and SSL verify options

<Tip>
  Complete VoIP server setup in Preferences first—the FSPBX/Thirdlane menus list only enabled, configured servers.
</Tip>

## Outbound mail vs hosted mail

* **Hosted mail** (Email menu) — customer mailboxes on your platform
* **Application mail** (`MAIL_*` in server `.env`) — outage emails, invoice email, system notifications

These are separate configurations.
