Company → Network → Monitoring shows reachability and latency for monitored hosts.
Monitored hosts
Add hosts by IP or hostname:
- CPE, routers, core devices, DNS, billing servers
- Configure check interval and alert thresholds per deployment
Monitoring agents
Optional Python agents run on customer premises or POP sites and report metrics to ISP Triage.
Typical setup:
- Download agent script from your ISP Triage server
- Run with agent ID and token provided by admin
- Install as systemd service for persistence
Agents complement ping checks with richer data where implemented.
Dashboard
The monitoring dashboard summarizes:
- Up / down status
- Recent latency
- Problem hosts for NOC review
AI assistant integration
Staff can ask the AI assistant about ping latency or host status by name when monitoring data is in context.
- Vendor controllers — live device stats from MikroTik/UniFi/Cambium
- LibreQoS / QoE — per-subscriber quality scores (Company → Preferences → QoE)
Monitoring alerts are not a substitute for SNMP/trap systems at very large scale—use ISP Triage monitoring for operational visibility alongside your NMS.
